Allan and Margaret Cooper of Canandaigua , New York .

As owner/inspector of Lake Country Home Inspections, Inc., Allan attended three weeks of on-site training at Inspection Training Associates (ITA) to meet the educational requirements for becoming a New York State home inspector. ITA is nationally recognized as the home inspection school endorsed by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), of which Allan is a member.

As required by New York State Law, Allan successfully completed the National Home Inspector Examination, and he also successfully completed the ASHI Standards and Ethics examination. As a member of ASHI, and as required by NYS, Allan annually completes continuing education courses, which is a requirement for recertification each year.

With 30-plus years of experience in constructing residential homes, home inspection was a natural fit for Allan to share his vast knowledge of

homes and home construction while inspecting properties for his clients.

While Allan's expertise is in the field, Margaret works on the marketing and administrative tasks for the business. Margaret is a long-time employee of the Ontario County Administrator's Office, and possesses a degree in Organizational Management from Keuka College .

Allan and Margaret reside in the Town of Canandaigua with their sons Christopher and Eric.
